This year, I attended the Harvard Model United Nations India 2018 as a part of the Neev Academy Delegation. And believe me when I say that it was one of the most enriching experiences I have ever had. I learnt a lot about not only MUN, but also myself. The conference spanned four days, from 12th to 15th August. Delegates showed from all over the world, with different ideologies and personalities. This diverse mix is something I have only seen at HMUN. I had been here last year, but this year was different. Not only did I come with a new determination to prove myself as a good delegate, but I also saw everything from a new point of view. I made it a point to have more fun than ever – and I did. I have never danced like I did at the Delegate Dance this time (and probably never will – until the next HMUN maybe). HMUN taught me the value of collaboration. I made new friends, which I have always been terrible at. I had my own shares of ups and downs in the committee, but I learnt how to ride through them and hold my head up high. In conclusion, HMUN India 2018 was one of the most valuable experiences I have had, and I shall treasure it forever.
